At Kumkum, Our mission is we believe that fashion should not only be beautiful but also meaningful. That’s why we are committed to empowering the women artisans of Uttar Pradesh, where Chikankari has been practiced for centuries. These artisans, many of whom come from small rural villages, have honed their craft over generations. However, they often lack the opportunity to showcase their work or earn a sustainable income. Through Kumkum, we aim to provide them with a platform to do just that – to showcase their skill, gain fair employment, and have their voices heard through their craft.
